As an avant premiere its launch planned for the coming weeks, Audi Argentina introduced Friday at the Hippodrome of San Isidro the full range to reach the country of Q5, the new medium SUV to compete against the BMW X3, the Mercedes GLK and the Land Rover Freelander 2.
The event coincided with the cocktail of the second edition of The Great Race, the test car classic tracks that traverse the North Argentine.
As reported in January, the Q5 will come with the wider choice of engine: two nafteras (4-cylinder 2.0 FSI of 211 hp 3.2 FSI V6 and 270 hp) and two diesel (four-cylinder, 170 hp 2.0 TDi and V6 3.0 TDi 240 bhp). Quattro all wheel drive and will only offer the 2.0 TDi option in the six-speed manual box. All others take the box sequence S tronic dual-clutch seven gears.
