Cool Cars Hundred: # 55 Antique Eniak

Argentina has a long tradition in the manufacture of sporting craft, but few achieved the commercial success of the Antique Eniak. Between 1983 and 1990 were 104 units of this two-seater based on the glamorous Convertibles of the 30s.

The car was one of the industrial enterprise Gaggino Luis, who commissioned the design and construction Pedro Campo Alain Baudena. Some units were exported to Italy and Japan. Hyperinflation drove overland continuity plans.

The Antique suggested the driver a totally different philosophy of life to modern cars, starting with its hood that demanded patience and some skill to put it. Leaving the factory with a 1.8 Volkswagen engine from 92 horses and came to produce three-engine Falcon 3.6 units of 166 horses, which allowed it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in under 8 seconds.
